Enjoy 4 Days exploring the amazing Western Australia’s Coral Coastal region. The Perth to Monkey Mia tour allows you to experience some of the outback towns in the Mid West of Western Australia.
Day 1. Perth to Kalbarri
Pinnacles, Pink Lake in the Hutt Lagoon, Eagle Gorge.
Perth accommodation departure 7 am.
We depart Perth and travel north to the Pinnacles, where we take a look at this impressive sight of thousands and thousands of limestone pillars.
The scenic Indian Ocean Drive hugs the coastline and is known for its biodiversity of flora. After lunch at the quaint seaside town Dongara we continue north for the townsite of Kalbarri. Hutt Lagoon is a pink lake, a salt lake with a red or pink hue due to the presence of the carotenoid-producing age Dunaliella salina, a source of ß-carotene, a food colouring agent and source of vitamin A. The lagoon contains the world’s largest microalgae production plant, a 250-hectare (620-acre) series of artificial ponds used to farm Dunaliella salina.
Before we reach Kalbarri we’ll visit some of the stunning sights along the coast, Eagle Gorge and Pot Alley highlighting the coastal gorges and dramatic scenery.
Kalbarri is nestled at the mouth of the Murchison River and surrounded by an amazing coastline, soaring river gorges and impressive river paradise.

Day 2. Kalbarri to Monkey Mia Dolphins
Kalbarri National Park, Shark Bay, Stromatolites, Shell Beach, Eagle Bluff, Monkey Mia
Visit the beautiful Kalbarri National Park for stunning views of the Gorges and Murchison River
Some of the places we see in the park include The Loop and Nature’s Window and the new Skywalk (open August 2017).
We head onto the Shark Bay Region. Shark Bay was World Heritage listed in 1991. Shark Bay is well known for its white beaches, turquoise waters and rust-red sand dunes. It is primarily renowned for both its terrestrial and marine life.
At Hamelin Pool, we view the ancient Stromatolites. Stromatolites are one of the earliest forms of life to evolve on earth. Living fossils, that can tell a story of the earth’s evolutionary past.
The amazing Shell Beach home to billions and billions of tiny Cardiid Cockleshells. Shell Beach is covered for a 60km-long stretch. The shells have a depth of seven to ten metres along its length.
Eagle Bluff a scenic viewpoint to look over the coast and maybe spot a Lemon Shark, Stingrays, Turtle or a Dugong.
Last stop for the day, Monkey Mia Resort our overnight stay. Before dinner, you can go for a walk along the beach to see the Dolphins or go for a refreshing swim.

Day 3. Monkey Mia to Geraldton
Three hour Dolphin Cruise
Today we start our day with a very special breakfast watching for the dolphins as they come in close to the shore.Then it’s down onto the beach to see the dolphins being fed and to hear the story of why the Dolphins visit Shark Bay every day.
Enjoy a two and a half hour long boat cruise to look out for the dolphins in their natural environment. Spot other sea creatures of the Shark Bay region, Dugongs, turtles, stingrays, lemon sharks and much more.
After lunch, we are on the road and set off to Geraldton through outback country where we could see kangaroos, emus, Wedge tail Eagles and long straight open roads. All of which makes Western Australian unique, an experience you won’t forget.

Day 4. Geraldton to Perth
HMAS Sydney Memorial, St Francis Xavier Cathedral, Yamaji Art Centre
Geraldton is the commercial hub for the Mid-West region, exporting Iron Ore, Mineral Sands, Wheat, Barley and Western Australian Rock Lobster.
Visit HMAS Sydney Memorial; the beautifully designed memorial features a silver dome of 645 seagulls to represent each of HMAS Sydney sailors lost in the battle.
St Francis Xavier Cathedral – Built in stages from 1914 to it opening in 1938, the Byzantine style architecture of this cathedral is one of Monsignor John Hawes’ greatest masterpieces.
We stop again for lunch in Dongara before we drive back to Perth along the Brand Highway.
